Our Story
Chris founded Language Farm Ireland after working with an English language camp in Germany. After several years working with The Language Farm learning beautiful philosophies and working with groups, Chris returned to Ireland and twinned with the love of his home country he decided to take the story further and opened Language Farm Ireland. We are entering our fourth season and have a growing community around us.
Our Philosophy
Our programs aim to place you directly in contact with the real nature and culture of Ireland. Immersing you in an environment where you can feel comfortable to try new experiences and learn new things. We are here to guide you through the adventure with trained instructors and experienced staff. All our English language learning is done through ‘learning by doing’ with no classroom time, as the nature of Ireland becomes your classroom. We believe in a sustainable future for our next generations and therefor educate on green lifestyles and proper use of nature for recreation.

Chris MacBlain
founder
Irish
Chris founded Language Farm Ireland in 2017. A trained and experienced outdoor enthusiast with many years working and running English language programs. Chris oversees all programs and runs our private tours.
Brea
Camp Leader
AUSTRALIAN
Brea has worked with Language Farm Ireland from the very beginning. An experienced English and Drama teacher with years spent travelling and working with groups from varying backgrounds. Brea is a talented singer songwriter and will be found running our teens programs and leading the music around the camp fire.
Aaron
Camp Leader
Irish
Aaron is our action man. Trained in most things outdoors and highly experienced working with youth groups. Aaron spends his free time hanging off the side of mountains all over the world. Aaron runs our teens programs and is our head Mountain Leader.
Laureanne
Bookings & Work Shops
DUTCH
Laureanne is a professional porcelain designer and when she is not dealing with our bookings she is running porcelain and ceramic workshops. She is fluent in German, Dutch and English.
