TEEN CAMP PROGRAM
Adventure Camps for teens aged 14 – 18
Aimed at building responsibility within young people with adventures through the nature and activities of Ireland. Better your English with real experiences and culture.
Our Teen Camp Program
We offer two options for teen programs. The 10 day camp Classic Camp is a condensed option perfect for first timers and younger teens, whilst the Older Teens Camp option expands on our activities and is ideal for those returning for a second year.
Our new Autumn (Fall) camps offer a 9 day program at a beautiful time of year for Ireland. With a change in season and a Halloween vibe, try our adventure camp this Autumn. Follow a similar program with surfing and hiking, sport and good food.
Whatever you choose, we aim to fit as much into your camp as we can to give you the best experience possible. Below is a summary of our programs.
Days 1 – 3
Getting to know you
- Indoor Accommodation
- Typically Cultural & Language Activities
We begin with a relaxed program to ease you into the culture and change in language. Get to know your group with activities such as games, role playing, Irish sports, cooking, Irish dance lessons, hearing from the traditional story teller, singing around the camp fire and a night walk in the hills with hot chocolate and head torches.
Days 4 – 6
Team Building
- Tented or Indoor Accommodation
- Typically land or water based activities
Its time to begin the real adventure. To really bond the group we travel by private bus to our second location. Program will include Surfing, games, visiting a tourist attraction, visiting a typical Irish village and some free time.
Days 7 – 10
The Challenge
- Tented or Indoor Accommodation
- Typically Land or Water based activities
During our rest day we get prepared for the big challenge. More responsibility is handed over to the group to deal with real situations and problem solving. With less structure to the program and more emphasis on challenging the group through cool activities using what they have learnt. Spend time with your friends and enjoy being in the present on our hike through the mountains with wild camping.
OUR MENU
You are what you eat
Food is very important to us. We shop with local farmers and producers and cook onsite in our kitchens to ensure you try the real flavour of Ireland. We do not want to be wasteful and we wish to eat healthy and tasty food. You will help prepare and cook a meal with our staff. You may meet the local producers and Chefs working with Irish produce. Many dishes will be vegetarian or vegan based as we try to reduce our use of meat but when we do cook with meat we celebrate high quality from organic sources and happy farms.
